| The state of
desert where the state territory be 342km2 which is just only small a little bit
than Japan (377km2). Rajasthan has extent, history, a culture that equal be sufficient in
one country. In the history in India 5000 years, they faced bravely to the invasions of a
foreign enemy and have defended the tradition of Rajiputs. Rajasthan is the hometown of
Rajiputs tribe (Hindu believer) where compete and fought bravely to Mughal empire
(Muslim). |

In
the morning, guide Joshi come to take me to the 3 days trip. He will act the guide of the
tour of the wonderland. With apprehension in foreign country, I had thought to the trip in
hidlings which he have had a right in his hand whether killing me or keeping alive. After
day trip of Delhi, I prepared myself for the worst for him for next 3 days trip
around the triangle. His family lives at the foot of Mt. Himaraya. He lives by
himself in Delhi for the past few years. He shows me a bulk of letters which is
from his clients of the past. I was little taken aback to find one letter in the
bulk which the address is very close to the town of my neighborhood.
In departure of Delhi, the car run toward to South. We dropped to Air India
branch in Jaipur in order to reconfirm FL ticket.
In Jaipur, our automobile slowly get ahead in the mob consist of men, camels and many
other cars without any touch superexcellent mettle. |
朝７時２０分、ｼﾞｮｼが宿に迎えに来る。今日から３日間、不思議の国の旅へ私をいざないガイドを勤める。異国での心細さのなかで、私を旅の空の下で生かすも殺すもこの男の胸一つと思った。デリー一日の旅の終わり、３日間の次の旅の案内人としてｼﾞｮｼに私は腹をくくった。 ｼﾞｮｼは北インドが専門と言う。広いインドでは全域をカバーするガイドは大変なのだろう。ヒマラヤの麓に家族が暮らす。この数年間、単身でデリーで暮らす。日本の過去の客からの手紙の束を見せた。驚いたことに自宅の近所に彼の客がいた。
デリーを出発、車は南へ走り出す。途中、航空券のリコンファームでエアーインディアジャイプール支店へ寄る。
ジャイプール市内、人とラクダと車の群れに鼻先をかすめながらの進行、けっして接触しない、路上絶妙の気合い。慣れたものだ。 |
