Monday, 29, December 1997	In this morning, I returned to Chennai Egmore St. again at 9 o'clock. I go and unloaded my back load to the hotel which I had booked my room before. High class hotel for me which be equipped with an air conditioner. What I cried "Well done! How nice India have papaya, mango, hearts of palm, etc Tropical Fruits which are fresh and delicious !" On my return way from fruit shop on street, I come cross a Indian beautiful woman begged her bread.I passed her side indifferently. I become familiar with Indian reality day-to-day. Due to life, Man begs bit Rs3.It's sure that's not reality of only Indian society.The reality exited even in Japan which now luxuriate ,conquered nation 50 yeas ago. At facing the reality, no one will over peer although have tender emotions. But it is till 3 days, although call to mind sometimes after.	この朝、９時チェンナイエグモア駅に戻る。予約した宿へ行き、荷物を降ろす。冷房の効いた高級ホテル。さすがインド、トロピカルフルーツはいける。パパイヤ、マンゴー、バナナ、ヤシの実、新鮮で美味しい。帰りすがりの道、物乞いするインド女性に、路で会う。無感動に女の側を通り過ぎる。旅行者も日々生活があり、インドの現実にも慣れてきた。生きるためわずかRs3のもの乞う人間。インドだけの現実ではない。50年前、敗戦国日本も同じだった。この現実の前では、さげすむ心を抱く人はいない、ただ哀れむ心あるのみ。しかしながら哀れみの日々も３日までである、時に思い起こすことがあるにせよ。
Tuesday, 30, December 1997	The last day on trip enable in taking it easy in India, is to Mahabaliprum Known as sight-seeing spot of ancient monument. The taxi driver is person came from next state, Karnataka.　He said his home is on beach. At once, I flash how he do in rainy day, but I come to unwise question.　Because no one want to live on beach with bed made by sand without loof. The reality of India is herein too. Even　man unidentified background can be leased auto-ryksha car and get business license though it is fake one.	インドでゆっくり出来る最後の日、チェンナイから近い、遺跡の観光スポット、マハバリプラムへ。行きのオートリキシャの運転手は隣の州カルナータカ出身者。浜辺が寝起きする、我が家だ、と言う。とっさに、雨の日のことが気になり、どうするのか聞きかけたが、愚問であることに気が付く。誰だって浜辺で寝起きすること等望んではいない、ということを。インドの現実がここにも。ここでは身元不明者でもオート力車がリースで借りられ、ドライバーに営業許可が下りる。もぐりであるかもしれないが。
Wednesday, 31, December1997	At the last day traveling Tamil Nadu, I get up early morning, to start by airport to Delhi by Taxi hired by hotel. I came cross Tenjiku Dalhia Japanese restaurant manager with Indian his wife at Air port. India may not be large more than I thought it before. The flight departure 21:00 is direct flight to Japan arrival tomorrow morning.. The airport shows an aspect as though all Japanese in whole India are gathered here. All most are young women. Check in has work stopped long time at the front of them. The Officers may be disappointed for double booking.	タミルナドゥ最後の日。再びDelhiへ向けて朝４時、起床。Hotel手配のタクシーで出発。日本料理レストラン「天竺Dalhia」のおやじとインド人夫人に早朝のMadrasの空港で遭遇。インドも存外狭い。フライトは夜２１：００日本への直行便。明日朝７時頃の着予定。空港ではインド中の日本人をかきあつめかのような様相である。日本人が沢山。ほんとんどが年端もゆかない女性達である。私の列の前の女性グループのところで、長い時間チェックインがストップしてしまった。ダブルブッキングかエアーインディアの職員が苦りきった表情をしている。
